SILAG Handel AG once again successfully demonstrated its credit worthiness. A few days ago the Federal Bank awarded it with the rating judgment of “eligible for credit” as in previous years. This high-ranking rating process requires intensive checking of annual statements and considers other criteria such as current business development and sector comparability values. The current categorisation is based upon the annual results up until 31st December 2010.
SILAG Handel AG was categorised at Level 3 as fully eligible for credit. The rating is valid in principle for a year and will then be tested again. Eligibility for credit means amongst other things that the probability of default on claims in the course of a year is just 0.1 percent or lower.
The test of eligibility for credit by the Federal Bank is a generally recognised and qualified assessment of business operations. The rating is highly valued in questions of financing and in the opening of new businesses as it builds trust and security – priceless requisites, especially in business.
“SILAG Handel AG is thus setting a good example and is supporting the requirement for greater business transparency in the wholesale sector.”
